Classificato N. 31 al mondo (2009 DJ Mag Top 100 Poll), Lange è riconosciuto come uno dei migliori artisti della scena dance dell’ultimo decennio. Alla luce dei numerosi risultati di rilievo (qualcosa come hits nella top 40 delle classifiche UK e colonne sonore in ambito cinematografico) Lange può essere visto come uno dei leader tra i produttori EDM. Il 2009 per lui è stato uno degli anni piu’ prolifici della sua carriera grazie a notevoli successi, sia nell’ambito della produzione di singoli che prestigiosi remix ad artisti quali Ferry Corsten e Above & Beyond. Lange ha debuttato anke nell’elite delle selezioni per Armin Van Buuren nel suo Essential Mix 2009. Rank 1 è un gruppo olandese di musica trance, formatosi in Olanda nel 1997. Largamente riconosciuti come i creatori della sonorità trance olandese, essi hanno prodotto molte hit da dancefloor. Nonostante i due componenti del gruppo (Benno De Goeij e Piet Bervoets) avessero già lavorato insieme in precedenza, Rank 1 fu il loro primo progetto con successo commerciale.

La loro più grande hit commerciale fu nel 1999 “Airwave”, che raggiunse il decimo posto nella UK Singles Chart e il venticinquesimo nella U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Questo fu poi nuovamente rilasciato sempre da Rank 1 remixato e con l’aggiunta di una parte cantata e prese il nome di “Breathing(Airwave 2003)”, fu anche usato come base per il mash up con Donna Williams dal titolo “True Love Never Dies”, a cui fu in seguito aggiunta la parte vocale e re-registrata co Kelly Llorenna dei Flip and Fill.

Sono anche conosciuti con l’alias R.O.O.S.,Pedro & Benno e A.I.D.A.
